How to fix the problem of 2k mould product shrinkage in TPE with ABS

1. Injection molding process problems: injection pressure is too low, pressure holding time is not enough, mold temperature is too high, cooling time is not enough, etc.

2. Mold processing problems: the gate is too small or the cross section of the runner is too small.

3. In terms of materials: the difference in shrinkage rate.

4. Structural design problems: uneven thickness of materials, improper ratio of rib width to material's thickness, excessive thickness of product material etc.

1. Increase the injection volume and holding the pressure, and prolong the injection time. For the flowing TPE material, high pressure will make the parts has flash or short shot, the temperature of material should be appropriately reduced. nozzle and front section of feed tube should be reduced.

The temperature of the cavity should be adapted to the change of raw materials, and it is easy to cooling.

2. we should increase the mold temperature to ensure a reasonable material flow to promote the thin-walled parts.

3. reduce the cooling time and reduced heat shrinkage.Extend the cooling time of product in cavity,maintain an even production cycle time.

4. The precise product should be released from the mold as soon as possible to allow it to be released in the air and h=keep it cooling .

5. Raw materials with low batching rate or improved raw materials, such as adding formulas, etc.

6. Raising the injection fills the part and eliminates sloppy unfolding.

7. If the temperature is too high or too low, the effect of pressure maintenance cannot be achieved.
